For in person lessons, I teach at my home studio in Whitesmocks, Durham

While studying Music at University, I began taking on guitar students in a 1 to 1 setting and I knew it was something I’d always want to do. I have been performing and recording music since 2015 and I’ve loved teaching people of different ages, backgrounds and abilities ever since I first gave it a go.

My teaching method lends to experience from my own guitar teacher, my education studying music for 5 years, experience from countless bands and from how I teach and hone my own abilities. An enhanced DBS certificate is available upon request.

Together, we will work on improving your ability on the guitar so you can express yourself with ease. We will discuss your personal goals, and then focus on achieving them with both our time together, and in your own time.

Whether you've just picked up the instrument, want a practice routine, or want to learn your favorite songs for personal enjoyment, I cater my lessons to you.

With me you can expect to develop your skills in the following:

  • Technique

  • Musical ear

  • Guitar tone and knowledge of sounds

  • Improvisational skills

  • Chord and guitar neck knowledge

  • Music Theory

  • and most importantly, Musicality

Together, we can make you the Guitarist you want to be.
